over 20 years...

I have over 20 years of combined education and experience in treating the human body and musculoskeletal conditions. I started out learning as a massage therapist in Ohio then moving to Louisville, Kentucky where I practiced and was licensed from 2005-2017. My quest for knowledge and understanding of how best to treat the human body led me to pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy program. I was accepted into and graduated Bellarmine University Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2012. Shortly after graduating I realized I desired reaching an expert level of providing evidence based treatments in order to help my patients improve quicker with lasting results. I eventually completed an Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency in Oregon 2015 and attained board certification as an APTA Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2016. Moving on to the highest level of training and recognition within the Physical Therapy profession I completed a Fellowship training through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy Fellowship: (Spinal Manipulation and Dry Needling Institutes) in 2018-2019. Extensive evidence based training was completed and the following certifications received: Diploma in Osteopractic, Certified in Dry Needling and Spinal Manipulative Therapy, IASTM (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) and cupping, Differential Diagnosis and Multi-Modal Management. Recognized in 2020 as a FAAOMPT (Fellow of American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists) one of the highest distinctions and rare accomplishments earned by a very small percentage of elite Physical Therapists in the nation.

When I am not in the clinic I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife and wonderful children. My faith and my family come first in life. I appreciate the people in my life, traveling, staying active, working out, fishing, hiking, The Ohio State Buckeyes, local sports teams and athletics, gardening, and days that I can swing on my front porch.
